Insert blank CD/DVD, get numerous Event ID 51's?
It's readyboost certified. I got one my for my GF too, who runs Vista 32 on her latop, works fine for her. I do have 4GB of ram. Would this stop readyboost? I have formatted mine in NTFS, ReadyBoost is on in Services Console, When I retest it says 'Does not mee required....' Any help would be good, Thanks,

I've installed a couple of flash drives that are supposed to support ReadyBoost in Vista on a couple of my Vista computers, however I'm not seeing much on an increase in speed. I've looked at the Task Manager, but I'm not seeing any type of memory size increase either. How does this work?

Vista hangs indefinitely on shutdown
I was surprised to find out that I couldn't use some of that space with ReadyBoost, or at least the ReadyBoost tab in the device properties says I cant. Its USB 2.0 and it definitely has enough space to support it, so why doesn't it? Thanks in advance for any help, guitardude It is *far* too slow.

ReadyBoost Prevents Bootup
I used one for readyboost (2 GB Sandisk). But after a while the drive disappears. It is not shown in 'Computer' any more and the drive light does not come on any more. I can remove the card and stick it back in and the drive reappears - for a while. I looked in the event viewer and could not see anything suspicious
